‘[...]The presented work replicates this cycle by using a humidifier and dehumidifier. The humidifier operates constantly and when the humidity in the room rises to a predetermined % [45 %] a humidity sensor switch automatically turns on a fan and the dehumidifier. When on, the fan circulates moisture laden air towards the dehumidifier that will switch off when the humidity lowers…The viewer is implicated in this situation as they breathe the vapour in and out, their presence or non-presence contributing to the functioning of the system. It will also be influenced by prevailing weather outside and any activities that may occur in the room[…]

[…]Overall, various but related processes of movement, function, adaptation and openness are created by the work. It is a symbiotic system that is greater than the sum of its parts.’
