Sofia Bordin lives and works between Rome and London. She is currently completing her MA in Sculpture at the Slade School of Fine Art.
Her practice intertwines organic and artificial spaces stitching together narrativities of grotesque fragments and porous textures, in a process of material sedimentation and spectral disruption, through the making of sculptures, assemblages and installations. Working on the depths and extremities of spaces and objects, her work interplays ghostly intrusions, opaque inscriptions and derelict remains.
